Hydrocortisone Induced Inhibition of Nuclease Activities in Rat Liver Nuclei

Hydrocortisone reveals its action by activation of transcription of specific genes that is achieved by binding of hormones nuclear receptors (NRs) to cognate sites on DNA and recruiting coactivators of basal transcription machinery.
